Hi, I’m Krista
Life doesn't always go the way we expect it to. Whether you're navigating the end of a relationship, grieving a significant loss, adjusting to a major life change, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything you're carrying, I'm here to help.
As a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with more than 20 years’ of experience, I've had the privilege of supporting teenagers and adults through some of life's most difficult seasons. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and understood—a place where you don't have to have all the answers before you walk through the door.
I have a special passion for supporting both men and women through life transitions, including separation and divorce, grief and bereavement, pregnancy and infant loss, anxiety, stress, and low mood. Alongside my professional experience, I also bring lived experience with grief and infant loss. While everyone's story is unique, I understand how deeply loss can shape us, and how important it is to have someone who can sit with you in that experience without trying to rush or fix it.
I also love working with teenagers (ages 13+) as they navigate the challenges of adolescence. Whether you're struggling with friendships, conflict at home, questions about identity and belonging, career decisions, or simply trying to figure out where you fit, I'll provide a supportive space where you can be yourself while building confidence, resilience, and self-understanding.
Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me outdoors. I love spending time in my garden and have volunteered for many summers at a local organic farm. I'm happiest near the water—whether I'm swimming, canoeing, kayaking, or paddleboarding, especially if I can convince my teenage daughter to join me for a day on the lake.
I know that reaching out for support isn't always easy. My hope is that when we work together, you'll feel safe enough to be yourself, supported enough to face life's challenges, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.
